This Privacy Policy explains how Dresskit: Winner Combination ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you use the Dresskit: Winner Combination mobile application (the "App").
1) Personal Data We Process
- Photos and Face Data
- What we collect: Only the photo you choose or capture for color‑season analysis, plus non‑biometric color data derived from that photo (e.g., approximate skin, hair, and eye color hex codes).
- What we do NOT collect: We do not collect facial geometry, facial templates, or other biometric identifiers. We do not perform identity recognition.
- Location (optional): Approximate and/or precise location if you allow it, to show weather‑based wardrobe tips and for analytics purposes. We only use the location needed to provide the feature you request.
- Device / Usage Data:
- Device identifiers: Anonymous device ID (UUID) generated on first launch. If you allow tracking on iOS (via ATT) and where available, we may also use advertising identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS or GAID/Advertising ID on Android) for advertising measurement.
- Device information: Device model, operating system version, app version, platform (iOS/Android)
- App activity: Screen views, button clicks, navigation patterns, feature usage, session data
- Purchase history: Subscription status and purchase information (if applicable)
- User preferences: Season type, wardrobe count, favorite count, onboarding completion status
- Location data: Country code (approximate location) for analytics
- Analytics data: App performance, crash reports, usage statistics
2) How We Use the Data
- Provide seasonal color analysis and wardrobe color recommendations.
- Show weather features if you enable location.
- Maintain App functionality, security, and performance.
- Analyze app usage patterns to improve user experience and app functionality.
- Track subscription status and purchase history for app functionality.
- Measure and optimize our advertising campaigns (where enabled, and on iOS only after you grant ATT permission).
3) Sharing and Disclosure
- Service Provider (AI Processing – OpenAI): To generate your color analysis, the photo you select is transmitted to OpenAI's API for processing. Per OpenAI's API policies, API inputs/outputs are not used to train OpenAI models; limited retention may occur for abuse monitoring before automatic deletion. Policy reference: https://openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies
- Analytics Provider (Mixpanel): We use Mixpanel, a third‑party analytics service, to collect and analyze app usage data, device information, and user interactions. The data shared with Mixpanel includes:
- Anonymous device ID (UUID)
- Device information (model, OS version, app version)
- App activity and usage patterns
- Country code (approximate location)
- Subscription and purchase information
- User preferences and app engagement metrics
Mixpanel processes this data according to its privacy policy: https://mixpanel.com/legal/privacy-policy/
Mixpanel uses EU servers (api-eu.mixpanel.com) for data processing in compliance with GDPR.
We do NOT share photos, face data, or biometric information with Mixpanel. - Advertising Measurement (Meta / Facebook App Events): We use Meta (Facebook) App Events to measure advertising performance and improve ad delivery/optimization. We may share certain app events (such as app opens and subscription events) with Meta to measure advertising performance (attribution) and improve ad delivery/optimization.
Data that may be shared with Meta can include:- app events (e.g., subscription events)
- device/app information needed for attribution/measurement
If you do not allow tracking on iOS (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt), we will keep Meta advertising tracking and advertiser ID collection disabled and will not share ad‑tracking signals based on your device advertising identifier. On Android, there is no ATT prompt; you can still control ad personalization and related settings via your device settings. - Weather Provider (optional location feature): If you enable location, we query a weather provider (e.g., WeatherAPI) to show local weather. We transmit only the location necessary to return weather data and do not persist it on our servers. WeatherAPI privacy: https://www.weatherapi.com/privacy.aspx
- Legal / Compliance: We may disclose data where required by law.
4) Storage and Retention
- On your device: Your original photo and analysis results are stored locally on your device. You can delete them at any time within the App. We limit local analysis history to the most recent 10 entries. We do not maintain server‑side copies.
- With OpenAI: Your photo is processed transiently to return the analysis. OpenAI may retain limited copies temporarily for abuse monitoring, per its policies.
- With Mixpanel: Analytics data is stored on Mixpanel's servers in the EU region. Data is retained according to Mixpanel's retention policies. You can request deletion of your analytics data by contacting us.
- Location retention: We do not store precise location on our servers. Location, when provided, is used in‑memory to fetch weather and then discarded. Country code is shared with Mixpanel for analytics purposes.
5) Your Choices and Controls
- Consent: You choose whether to provide a photo. You can decline and still use other features.
- Tracking (iOS): You can allow or deny tracking via the iOS ATT prompt. You can change your decision later in iOS Settings.
- Analytics: Analytics data collection is enabled by default to help us improve the App. You can contact us to opt out of analytics data collection.
- Deletion: You can clear your local photo(s) and analysis history in the App at any time. You can request deletion of your analytics data by contacting us.
- Permissions: You can manage camera, photo library, location, and tracking permissions in your device settings.
- Data Rights: Subject to your local law, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
6) Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by consenting adults. We do not knowingly collect photos of children. If a provided image appears to depict a child, the analysis will not be provided.
7) International Transfers
Where applicable, data may be processed in countries with data protection laws different from your own. Analytics data is processed in the EU region (via Mixpanel's EU servers) in compliance with GDPR. We take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is 100% secure.
9) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted in‑app or on this page before they take effect.
